Suggested Usage: Take 1/4 level teaspoon of powder into at least 6 oz. of cold water or clear liquid. Take once daily with a meal. This powder can increase the temperature of liquids upon contact; therefore, the recommended serving MUST be mixed into at least 6 oz. of cold liquid to neutralize this reaction prior to ingestion.
Caution: This product must be dissolved into at least 6 oz. of cold water or clear liquid before consuming. Do not breathe powder and avoid contact with skin, eyes, and clothing. For adults only. Consult physician if pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition. Keep out of reach of children.

I wanted an ascorbic acid that was magnesium based since it usually is calcium based and I'm happy I found this. Keep in mind that you are also getting a dose of magnesium with this. With 1600 mg of ascorbic acid you get 240 mg of magnesium...relaxing so it could be taken in the evening. If you want to take more then you may not have to take much magnesium. I like NOW Foods products in general, but had never tried their Magnesium Ascorbate before. I'm very pleased with the results. I've always used another brand of this supplement, but that product is now disappearing from the market. Well, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the NOW product is even better quality than what I had been using IMO. Now I can order it from you in a combined order instead of resorting to supplier X. In my opinion magnesium ascorbate is one of the best ascorbates and a fine way to get magnesium and buffered Vitamin C at the same time. Buy some calcium ascorbate too if you want to shoot for a calcium magnesium ratio. Magnesium ascorbate tastes better than the calcium and sodium ascorbates. With this mag ascorbate powder I just dip a teaspoon into the bottle and get out 1/3 teaspoon which is about a gram (I think).
