INGREDIENTS: Farro Wheat
HOW TO COOK: Farro is easy to prepare and cooks relatively quickly. First rinse the grains, and then place 1 cup of grain into a saucepan with at least 3 cups of water. Cover and bring to a low boil for 15 minutes or until "al dente" or chewy. Some people like to add a touch of salt while cooking.
Additional recipes listed on package.
Farro is an organic agricultural product. Despite the use of modern cleaning equipment it is not always possible to remove all foreign material. Always rinse and sort Farro before cooking.

I had never heard of this grain until recently. Boy am I glad I tried it! I made some vegetable beef soup recently and added a cup of this to my soup and it is so delicious! It has a nutty flavor and it is kind of like barley but more tender. It is also great cooked like rice with chicken or beef stock as the liquid (instead of water). I highly recommend this!Helpful? What Everyone’s Saying
