The Berberine is very tolerable on my stomach. I was worried I would get upset stomach since I am sensitive to supplements etc. I have been taking one each night and look forward to see if it has improved my cholesterol with my next lab draw. Was previously using a popular brand of Berberine, and switched to Solaray after watching The Anti-Aging Channel on YouTube. (27) Berberine brands were lab tested, & Solaray rated #4 of 27. Swanson’s own Berberine brand came in at #2 of 27. Solaray is 500 mg and Swanson 400 mg. Both contained the advertised mg’s of Berberine, w/a 97% purity rating. Solaray is valued at $.99 cents per gram and Swanson is valued at $.62 cents per gram. I selected Solaray as it has less fillers. Also, the Swanson brand was out of stock. The previous brand I was using came in at #19, with only 26% of its stated mg’s of berberine.
