    L-Arginine is a conditionally essential basic amino acid involved primarily in urea metabolism and excretion as well as DNA synthesis. NOW L-Arginine Powder is a pharmaceutical-grade powder delivering 6 grams free-form L-arginine per serving.

    SUGGESTED USAGE: Mix 2 level teaspoons daily as needed in at least 8 oz. of juice or water, preferably on an empty stomach.

    Caution: Take this product with at least 8 oz. of water or juice. For adults only. Not for pregnant or nursing women. Consult physician if taking medication (especially antihypertensives, anticoagulants, and antidiabetic drugs), have a medical condition (especially asthma or renal disease) or are planning to have surgery. This product should be avoided by persons with glaucoma or herpes simplex unless otherwise prescribed by a physician. Do not use if you have had a myocardial infraction or have established coronary artery disease. Keep out of reach of children.

    Inedible

    This product has an AWFUL metallic taste. It tastes as if I'm drinking liquid tinctured with melted aluminum. Even coffee and milk cannot disguise the taste.

    Taste is terrible as everyone says. I mixed each serving with 1/4 tsp malic acid and it was quite palatable however, the reason I bought this brand was because of its low price compared to Swanson's brand. Adding in the cost of the malic acid and the extra prep time, I'll have to decide if it's worth it.

    Tastes bad- but drink with lemon juice, vinegar, tumerick, etc ===used to get Swanson brand powder. I will buy it again.

    Tastes bad but lemon juice makes it tolerable

    Yes, it tastes horrible but I wanted to share how I discovered to make taste minimal. I put about 2oz of grape juice and about 1-2 oz of lemon juice. The lemon semi neutralizes the taste. I try to throw it back in 1-2 swallows then rinse and gargle with water. Yeah, its a lot of work but you have to take many capsules to get 1G or more at a time

    Terrible taste

    I so regret having bought this in powder form instead of a capsule. I wasted my money and space in my kitchen cabinet. The taste is so awful I can't stand it. I don't know if it's effective or good quality ... I'll give everything a one, I wish there was a "na" choice.
